Spartans Reserves notched up their first SWFL win with a 5-0 victory over Edinburgh South.
A hat-trick from Nichola Sturrock and a double for Helen Lyon saw Spartans kick-start their league campaign at a bitterly cold Ainslie Park. (more…)
In what was a proverbial game of two halves, Spartans went down fighting in a 1-3 defeat against reigning SWPL champions, Glasgow City.
Sarah Ewens’ 44th minute penalty gave Spartans hope in what Manager Debbi McCulloch noted as a second half where her side were the better team. (more…)
Spartans FC are backing The Spartans Academy’s pledge to ensure no child in North Edinburgh goes without an Egg this Easter.
Last year saw the Academy’s Christmas donation scheme contribute sack loads of clothes and toiletries for the Local Salvation Army and for the first time, a collection of food for a local Food Bank operating out of Granton Baptist Church was organised. Both were a huge success and helped lots of people in need from our local community. (more…)
Spartans welcome Glasgow City to the Academy on Sunday in the third weekend of fixtures in what’s already shaping out to be an exciting SWPL season.
With a maximum of six points each earned in this campaign so far, both teams will be out to preserve their unbeaten SWPL record. (more…)

An opportunity has arisen for ambitious voluntary coaches to join the Spartans staff and coach at one of the best facilities in Scotland.
