Nicola Jameison is a Spartan!

Spartans Football Club are delighted to announce their fifth summer signing, Nicola Jameison, from St Johnstone Women F.C. The left sided centre back who previously played for Hibernians U23’s will add competition to our defensive options and balance to the team as Manager Debbi McCulloch looks to build a competitive and strong squad ahead of our opening fixture against Glasgow City on Sunday 7th of August.

 

Our new number 7 is raring to go and can’t wait for the league to kick off. Nicola briefly spoke to Spartans FC Women after today’s pre-season victory versus Hamilton Academical. “I’m absolutely delighted to sign for Spartans as it’s an amazing club with a great reputation within womens football and the SWPL 1. The setup and facility is unbelievable so I’m really excited to get started with the team.”

Spartans sign Hannah Jordan

Spartans Women have further bolstered their attacking options after capturing the signature of Hannah Jordan from Rangers Women. Our new number 21 has been capped at Under 16’s and Under 19’s for Scotland and is looking to push on as she sets her sights on lighting up SWPL 1.

Spartans Women F.C. complete signing of Ria McCafferty

Spartans Women F.C. can today confirm the signing of Ria McCafferty.  The experienced midfielder joins Spartans after a 12 year relationship with Hibernian Women F.C.  The 21-year old previously enjoyed a loan spell with SWPL 2 club Boroughmuir Thistle last season before returning to SWPL 1 side Hibernian Women.

 

McCafferty has no doubt that she can add quality to our current squad as the team looks to to push on this season in what will be a highly competitive league.

 

“It feels really good to be here. I’m excited to get started as I’ve been speaking to Debbi for a while now and this feels like the right place to be. Spartans is a hard-working, family club and I believe playing here will provide me with the platform to continue to grow as a player.”
