A See You Later | Scott Noble

The club can today confirm that after five and a half years at the club, Assistant Head Coach Scott Noble will be stepping away to focus on other commitments.

On his departure from the club, Scott had the below to say:

“A See You Later

It’s been an incredible 5.5 years as the Assistant Head Coach of Spartans Women FC. I’m extremely grateful for all of the opportunities to have worked with incredible staff and coached some of the best talent in the SWPL. In the past 5.5 years to watch the club grow from Amateur to Professional Hybrid status has been nothing short of remarkable, all whilst never ever losing sight of the supportive family and community club values.

In the 5.5 years there have been some magnificent results, magical cup runs and outstanding team performances and always with the support from parents/guardians, family, girls academy players and coaches and fans. The support from you all drives everyone to perform and creates a real community buzz home and away!

To the players, your commitment and willingness to learn and perform each and every session and game has been phenomenal. It’s been a privilege to work with you all.

The staff, your support, advice and banter (questionable at times) has been a real source of comfort and entertainment over the years. I’ll no doubt miss it all!

Debbi – Thank you for your continuing support, belief and opportunities you presented to me. On and off the pitch you’ve always backed me and been there when I’ve needed advice. You’ve been and will continue to be a real inspiration on and off the pitch, who looks to push the game even further and someone who I can truly count as an amazing friend. I’ll be forever grateful.

Megan, Otis and Family, thank you for your unwavering support and understanding. It’s time to make new memories, have new adventures and take on new challenges together!

Finally, I’ll be back at Ainslie Park and other grounds around the country to support from the other side of the barrier. I’ve been involved at Spartans since I was a young player in my early teens and it’s a club, a community and a family I’ll always have a lot of love for.

Thank you for everything ⚪️🔴

#DreamBigDreamFierce”

Scott has been a key figure across both the club and he community throughout his time at Spartans, and will be sorely missed at Ainslie Park.

On Scott’s departure, Head Coach Debbi McCulloch nodded to Scott’s legacy, stating:

“I would like to pay tribute to our Assistant Head Coach Scott Noble as this will be Scott’s final game with us this Sunday as he looks to embark on a new journey with the SFA. There has been so many laughs, tears, and challenges over the past five years and throughout them all Scott has been a great support to myself and the wider team. We have shared some magical memories and its been a real privilege to see Scott grow into the coach/person he is today. Good luck Scott and please know that you will always be welcome at Ainslie Park. Your legacy will always be a part of this club and team!”

Thanks for everything, Scott!
