The Spartans Football is pleased to announce that Cacee McKenna will join the club on a one year loan deal from Rangers F.C. for the forthcoming 2024/25 season.

Cacee, 18, has been a key player for Rangers U18’s NextGen squad last year and is motivated to take her footballing journey to the next level by experiencing SWPL 1 football at Ainslie Park Stadium. The loan move is expected to provide McKenna with valuable playing time and experience in the SWPL 1, aiding in her development as a player.

Cacee expressed her excitement about the move: “I am super excited for the next step of my development path by joining Spartans F.C. on loan from Rangers F.C.. I’m keen to start pre-season training, meet my new team mates and familiarise myself with my new surroundings. The challenge of playing in a SWPL 1 team is something I can’t wait to get stuck into.”

Jack Beesley, Spartans Head Coach, commented on the deal: “Cacee is a player who always caught my eye at U18’s level with her athleticism, versatility and technical qualities. She can play anywhere on the right-hand side and will offer directness and energy from either full-back or higher up the pitch.
