We are delighted to announce that Caley Gibb has signed a contract extension to stay at Ainslie Park.

Gibb signed for Spartans from Hibernian, the youngster immediately impressing and earning her way into Debbi McCulloch’s SWPL side. Caley also caught the eye on the international stage, making the Scotland youth squads.

The talented youngster who had a difficult start to the season through injury, marked her return in impressive form. Caley proved her pace causing problems down the flanks. She made 13 appearances to end the season, scoring four goals in the process.

On extending her stay at Ainslie Park, Caley said:
“I am delighted to extend my contract with Spartans. It’s been a tough year with injury but I’m looking forward to getting a good pre-season under my belt and start the season right. The club is on a high after an extremely successful year with the Men’s team and we are definitely moving in the right direction. I’m excited to get going again!’
