Head coach Suzy Shepherd is sorry to see on loan striker Carla Boyce make an earlier than anticipated return to Glasgow City. She commented: –

“It has been a pleasure having Carla training with us and as part of our team for the first six games of the season. Carla has really fitted into our system well, her confidence has grown weekly and her progress has benefited her performances at International level last month.

Obviously, we would have loved to have retained Carla’s services for longer and she will be a big miss. At the same time, we are very grateful to Glasgow City for the opportunity to play a part in Carla’s development over the last few months.

We wish Carla all the best for the remainder of the season, apart from when Glasgow City play Spartans of course! Joking aside I am sure she will be a great success”.

Carla will return to Ainslie Park this Sunday with Glasgow City as they play Hibernian in a top of the table clash after Spartans meet Celtic kicking-off at 1:00pm.
