Debbi McCulloch – Manager

Debbi05In 2002 Debbi graduated from Abertay University with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Development with Coaching which has led Debbi into a career of football development and coaching.

Beginning her coaching career at Dundee United Football Club as a Community Coach Debbi then moved up north in 2003 to take up a full time position at Ross County Football Club working in the biggest community coaching programme in Scotland for five years before moving down to Edinburgh in 2009 to take up her current position at the Spartans Community Football Academy as Football Development Officer.

Qualified to SFA Level 4 in both Children’s and Youth coach education pathways Debbi became involved with our Women’s Premier League team in 2009 as Assistant Head Coach before progressing to become our Head Coach in April 2010 and from the end of 2012 1st Team Manager.

Throughout her period at the helm Debbi has led Spartans to two League Cup Finals in the previous two seasons and SWPL Runners Up in Season 2011. Debbi is also the Women’s Regional Performance Centre coach for the SFA South East Region where she delivers individual technical sessions for elite players involved at National or Regional level within the women’s game in Scotland.
