Hannah Robinson Signs For Spartans

Winger Hannah Robinson has joined Spartans F.C. from Rangers Women F.C. The 18 year old was a part of the Rangers Women Academy and continued her development at the club with both the first team and National Performance League U19’s squad.

With a smile on her face, Robinson discussed what it means to sign for Spartans: “Personally, for me, it’s a great achievement to come from an academy set up to a club like Spartans. It’s a great opportunity for myself. The club are looking to push on in the league so I’m looking forward to being a big part of that.”

“For me individually, I want to push myself out of my comfort zone. I’m going work hard at every training session to give the best I can. As a club we’re aiming for a top six spot. This shows great ambition from the club and I’m looking forward to achieving that and playing my part.”

Manager McCulloch was thrilled to be adding a “creative winger who will add quality” to a squad that is hungry to compete and win. She said: “Our U19’s NPL coaches Alfie & Michael are always identifying young talent who they feel can compete in the SWPL 1 and as a club we are dedicated to developing youth players and giving them a platform to perform. From speaking with Hannah I can feel how hungry she is to compete at the top level and that she will add quality to our squad”.

“Hannah is a creative player who has the ability to make things happen. She also has a fantastic range of passing and is a direct and purposeful winger who will score and create goals for the team. I’m very much looking forward to working closely with Hannah and taking her game to the next level.”

And you can see Hannah in action, along with the rest of the team, on Sunday 10th of July (1pm kick off) as we face Glasgow Girls & Women in our first pre-season friendly at Ainslie Park Stadium.

Welcome to Spartans Hannah!
