Spartans are delighted to unveil their latest signing, Scotland age-grade Internationalist Michaela McAlonie.

The 15 year old Central Midfielder arrives at Ainslie Park after three years at Hearts Ladies. 

Speaking of her move, an ebullient McAlonie said, “I’m really excited to get the opportunity to play in SWPL 1, especially at my age.  It will help me with my personal development and make me a better player.”

Michaela is yet another in a long line of young talent brought to the club by Head Coach Suzy Shepherd.

Shepherd said of the latest addition to the squad, “I am delighted to have signed Michaela.  She is a young player with a great attitude and has a big future in the game.  I am looking forward to working with her and help develop Michaela who has showed her credentials by featuring in the Under 17s at such an early age.”
