We are absolutely delighted that our Media Manager and Man on the Mic Mark Brown has decided to back Nicola Mawson for the 2017 season. Nicola a veterinary student at Edinburgh University is now starting her third season with Spartans and is a hugely important member of our Premier League 1 team.
The defender or midfielder has made a significant impact both on match days and on the training pitch with her fantastic work rate and is an excellent role model for all our youngsters at the club. Mark said, “I have been impressed with Nicola since she arrived at the club two years ago.
“Her energy, commitment and drive both on the training pitch and match days is tremendous to see and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to back her this season.”
Mark of course is an extremely popular face around the Spartans Academy helping out across the club Men’s, Youth and Women’s sections and a valued member of the Women and Girls Executive Committee where he serves as Vice Chairperson.
Both Mark and Nicola give their all for Spartans FC and as such they are the perfect partnership to progress the club forward into 2017.
