Spartans head West for SWPL Cup opening round test

Screen Shot 2014-01-04 at 16.13.12Spartans face a trip across the M8 to take on Rangers in the opening round of the 2015 SWPL Cup.
The two sides met at the same stage of the tournament last year and it took a second half penalty by Lana Clelland to separate the teams at Petershill.
Scottish FA President, Mr Campbell Ogilvie made the draw, which features all 12 of this season’s top flight teams, at Hampden on Wednesday.

The full draw is as follows:
Rangers v. Spartans
Hearts v. Celtic
Hibernian v. Hamilton Academical
Forfar Farmington v. Hutchison Vale
Byes: Falkirk Ladies, Aberdeen, Glasgow City and Inverness City
All ties will take place on Sunday 1st March.
