Manager Debbi McCulloch will be looking for her Spartans side to get back to winning ways on Sunday when they welcome Stirling Uni to Ainslie Park for Round 9 of the SWPL campaign.
In what is the penultimate fixture of the opening round of fixtures pre-split, Spartans enter the game looking for a win that will secure a place in the Top 6 in the second half of the season.
Stirling University, in their inaugural season in the top flight, are hot on McCulloch’s side’s heels knowing that a victory in the Capital would make for an interest final day’s play in decided the teams who’ll form the Top and Bottom 6 berths.
The Spartans boss will return to the dug out this weekend following her recent A Licence Course exploits, joining Coach Jimmy Burns who has presided over proceedings in her absence.
