Spartans Women head into Sunday’s SWPL Edinburgh Derby against Hearts in the final pre-summer recess fixture of the 2015 campaign.

The match, being played on grass at King’s Park in Dalkeith, kicks off on Sunday at 2pm and a big Spartan Army support is welcomed to cheer the team on. 

Spartans will be looking to give Morgan Mitchell the perfect send-off as the American striker gets set to head back across the pond after her short-term spell in the Capital.

A win for Spartans will secure a Top 6 spot ahead of the fixture release for the second half of the season, set to be made next week.

Hearts v Spartans – 2pm
Forfar Farmington v Hutchison Vale – 2pm
Glasgow City v Rangers – 2.30pm
Hibernian v Inverness City – 2.30pm
Hamilton v Celtic – 4pm
Stirling Uni v Aberdeen – 4pm

Our Reserves are also in action this weekend when they Hutchison Vale Development at Ainslie Park (12 Noon KO).

Lynsey Cowan’s side, currently sitting in 3rd place behind Motherwell, will be looking to continue their five match unbeaten run ahead of the summer break.
