Spartans are looking to get their first points on the board as the team travel to K-Park to face a Motherwell side hoping to do the same.
Spartans season got off to a rocky start with a 6-1 defeat on home soil to a strong Rangers side. Lauren Berman scored just after the half way point to secure her first Spartans goal on her debut.
Motherwell’s season started with a 3-2 loss to Aberdeen at Balmoral Park. Kaela McDonald-Nguah netting twice from the spot as the side were awarded two penalties in the later stages of the game.
Motherwell are a much changed side to the 22/23 season, with Paul Brownlie making several changes to his squad. Nine outgoings and nine incomings.
There was nothing to separate the two sides on three occasions last season, Spartans victorious in the fourth and final fixture between the two. A Becky Galbraith hat trick enough to secure the three points at K-Park as Spartans ran out 3-2 winners.
Kick off on Sunday is at 4pm at K-Park, tickets are available at the gate.
