Spartans prepare to welcome third placed Rangers to Ainslie Park in the last home game before the SWPL split.
Spartans go into Sunday’s fixture after returning from the international break two wins from two, earning two clean sheets in the process. Rangers lost their first fixture on return from the break, Celtic defeating them 3-0, the Glasgow side bounced back quickly with a convincing 5-0 win over Partick Thistle at Broadwood midweek.
Last time out between the two sides in the SWPL, Rangers ran out 2-0 winners at Broadwood in the midweek fixture. Malky Thomson’s side will be looking for a similar result as they look to push up the table to defend their league title. A win for the home side could prove crucial in the bid to securing a top six spot before the split.
Tickets for Sunday’s SPWL match up are priced at £7 for adults, £4 for concessions and free for U16s. Pay at the Gate will be in operation or tickets can be purchased via Fanbase here.
