Spartans head into the midweek fixture card with three points under their belt. The side securing a 1-0 win at home to round off a solid performance for the Edinburgh outfit over Dundee United on Sunday.
The team take the trip to the home of Albion Rovers in the hope of continuing the positive momentum started on Sunday to make it six points from six in this busy three game week. Last time out against Glasgow Women, it finished 2-1 to Spartans with goals from Becky Galbraith and Hannah Jordan proving enough to see off the side at the foot of the table.
Glasgow Women’s last league game saw them fall defeat to Partick Thistle who ran out 6-0 winners on the night at Petershill Park. The Glasgow side without a point in the league so far this season but not to be underestimated as they secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup early last month.
