The Spartans Football Club have two vacancies available for the forthcoming SWPL 1 season, which starts in early August 2024 – Club Secretary & Kit Manager. With previous Kit Manager Adam Smith moving into a full time role at the Spartans Community Foundation, and current Club Secretary John Mitchell stepping down mid-July, we are welcoming applications from interested parties.
Our Kit Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all team equipment and apparel. This role ensures that players and staff have everything they need for training (Monday, Wednesday & Friday evenings) and matches (Sundays), contributing to the smooth operation of the team. The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and passionate about football.
The role of Club Secretary is critical to the smooth operation of our SWPL team here at Spartans. The successful candidate will act as the main administrative officer, ensuring all club activities are conducted efficiently and within the rules and regulations of governing bodies. Tasks include, player contracts, player registrations, matchday administrative duties (team sheets, correspondence with opposition etc.) and liaising with match officials.
