A fantastic start to the season in front of goal by Sarah Ewens has earned the Spartans striker a sponsorship deal with local firm Cornerstone Mortgage Consultants.

Ewens, who has netted 18 times in 11 games so far this campaign, is just eight goals away from reaching a century of strikes during her Spartans career and her pedigree as a natural goal scorer has impressed Cornerstone Director Gerry Weir.

Weir has a close connection with Spartans, having 3 sons in the Youth Section and coaching with their 2004 and 2006 groups. Cornerstone Mortgage Consultants also become the first dual sponsor at the club as they also sponsor Willie Bremner in the men’s Lowland League championship winning side.
